How far in advance should I book?

Most couples book anywhere from 9–18 months in advance, especially for popular months like June and October. That said, I do occasionally have last-minute availability, so it never hurts to reach out.
Dates are officially reserved once a contract is signed and the retainer is paid.
Do you charge extra for travel within Michigan?

Travel is included for most Michigan weddings.
If your wedding location is more than two hours from Lansing, Michigan, I simply ask that hotel accommodations be provided for the night of the event. This helps ensure I arrive rested, on time, and fully present for your day — no surprise travel fees or mileage add-ons.
If you’re unsure whether your location falls outside that range, I’m always happy to help you figure it out.
How do you accept payments?

I accept payments online through a secure client portal. A signed contract and a 25% retainer are required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance split into equal monthly payments. The final payment is due one month before your wedding day.
This keeps things simple, organized, and stress-free on your end.
What happens if we feel awkward in front of the camera?

You are absolutely not alone — and that’s completely okay.
My approach is very relaxed and documentary-focused. I’ll guide you when needed, but I’m mostly there to let moments unfold naturally so you can stay present with each other. Engagement sessions are also a great way to get comfortable before the wedding day and feel confident going in.
